. Dorney Park, Allentown, Pa., 200-acre amusement and water park with more than 100 rides and attractions. Includes six roller coasters, white-water rafting ride, 1921 carousel and two flume rides. . New Jersey State Aquarium, Camden, N.J., houses more than 4,000 aquatic animals of some 500 species. Main exhibit features a 760,000-gallon Open Ocean Tank, with sharks, giant stingrays, sea turtles and more. Open 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. daily April 16-Sept. 15. (800) 616-JAWS, www.njaquarium.org.

. Please Touch Museum, Philadelphia. Specifically designed for children ages 7 and younger, Please Touch provides an environment for children to learn through discovery and creative play. . Sesame Place, Langhorne, Pa., theme park based on “Sesame Street.” Located just outside of Philadelphia, it’s a play experience for children ages 2-13. Features include a roller coaster, water attractions and 50 physical fun activities. Open May-October. (215) 752-7070, www.sesameplace.com.
