FAIRFIELD – Two ramps connecting Interstate 95 at Exit 36 will be closed for paving from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. today.
The closures will affect the offramp that carries southbound traffic from I-95 to Route 201 and the on-ramp that takes traffic from Route 201 to the southbound lanes of I-95. The work will not affect ramps for northbound traffic, according to Jamie Andrews of the Maine Department of Transportation’s Regional Program office in Winthrop.
Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time in order to use Exit 35 ramps at Route 139.
