SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The University of Maine’s Viktoriya Rybalko finished second in the nation in the long jump at Friday night’s NCAA Track and Field Championships. Rybalko recorded a leap of 21 feet, 51/4 inches, finishing second to champion Elva Goulbourne of Auburn’s 22-21/4.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The University of Maine’s Viktoriya Rybalko finished second in the nation in the long jump at Friday night’s NCAA Track and Field Championships.

Rybalko recorded a leap of 21 feet, 51/4 inches, finishing second to champion Elva Goulbourne of Auburn’s 22-21/4.

Rybalko earned her berth in the finals by placing eighth in the qualifying round Wednesday night with a distance of 20-8.
