BANGOR – Max Louscher, a 10-year-old aspiring figure skater who represents Penobscot Figure Skaters of Bangor, has been invited to train this summer with Barbara Kossowaska, an Olympic and world level coach, at the New England Sports Center in Marlborough, Mass.

To help raise money for this training, a benefit spaghetti dinner hosted by friends, neighbors and family is scheduled today at 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Unitarian-Universalist Church, 120 Park Street, Bangor. The fee is $10 per person, $5 for children under the age of 12, or $30 per family.

For reservations call 942-4011. Those who wish to help, but can’t attend can make a tax-deductible donation in Louscher’s name to the New England Amateur Skating Foundation, P.O. Box 6881, Providence, RI 02940.
