BREWER – Pat Moran tossed a two-hitter as the Brewer Falcons shut out the Trenton Acadians 2-0 in Zone 1 American Legion baseball action Wednesday night. Marcus Boober’s RBI groundout in the second inning scored Kevin McAvoy to give Moran all the support he needed.

Marcus Boober’s RBI groundout in the second inning scored Kevin McAvoy to give Moran all the support he needed.
Kyle Dalton knocked in Jason Harvey with a double in the sixth inning for the other run.
Moran struck out nine and walked none in picking up the win, and no Acadian runner reached third base.
Dalton posted two doubles, and Jake Knight added a double and a single.
Mark Clapp singled twice for the Acadians.
