A new place to get a hot breakfast, fresh coffee and assorted breakfast pastries is opening with an old name on June 23 in Rockport. The Copper Kettle gets its name from the tearoom that operated in neighboring Rockland from 1911 to 1960. Located at The Haven Event Center just down the street from Midcoast Recreation Center on Route 90 in West Rockport, The Copper Kettle will serve breakfast Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. The new eatery is a division of Midcoast Culinary Solutions Catering of Rockport, which is owned by chefs Mark Vogt and Shawn Wilcox.
