AUGUSTA – The second annual Small Business Innovation Research Summer Session will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at the Augusta Civic Center.

In-depth SBIR program presentations will be made by:

. Om Sahai of the National Science Foundation.

. JoAnne Goodnight of the National Institutes of Health.

. Charles Cleland of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

. Vincent Schaper of the Department of Defense, Navy.

The federal program has $1.5 billion available for new and innovative technology. Assistance and one-on-one time with federal program managers will be offered.
