HOULTON – Jason Weymouth hit a two-run single, followed by James Gray’s three-run home run as Penquis piled on five runs in the top of the seventh inning to rally for an 8-6 victory over Houlton Tuesday in American Legion action.
Adam Russell tripled in the seventh and doubled earlier. Josh Willie hit a double and Gray added a triple for the Navigators.
Matt Day hit a two-run single for the Shiretowners and Chris Cole singled twice.

At Old Town, Dustin Thomas and Brad Goody had two-run singles in an 11-run first inning that decided it.

Chris Rand and Andy Pease had three singles and an RBI apiece while Bo Thomas hit a two-run homer and a single. Goody contributed two singles and two RBIs.
Ryan Brown and Mike Russell no-hit Waldo through four and Goody finished up.

At Ellsworth, Arshwin Asjes scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning on a Ben Freedman single to give Trenton the win.
Asjes had two doubles and a single with an RBI for the Acadians. Nick Henry hit a pair of singles with a RBI and Dustin Young had an RBI single.
Steve Colbeth tripled and singled to knock in three runs for the Suns. James Macdonald hit two singles and Darren Constant had a RBI single.
