PALO ALTO, Calif. – Four Maine high school racewalkers each finished in at least sixth in the USATF Junior National Track and Field Championships, earned an All-America award and were named to the USATF Junior National Racewalk team.

Dirigo of Dixfield’s Jasmine Brooks (56:19.36) and Mt. Blue of Farmington’s Carly Lochala (58:12.86) were fifth and sixth, respectively, in the junior women’s 10-kilometer race. Caribou’s Dan Campbell (51:04.01) and Lisbon’s Troy Clark (51:24.26) were fifth and sixth, respectively, in the junior men’s 10K.

Former Mt. Blue standout Adam Staier, now a student at Mansfield College, won the junior race in 45:43.86. Kevin Eastler won the men’s 20K in 1:23:52.20 and Ben Shorey was sixth.
