DOVER-FOXCROFT – Josh Withee took a no-hitter into the sixth and gave up just two hits overall as Penquis shut down Lincoln 11-3 Thursday in American Legion action.
Withee struck out four and walked one. Ross Morrison hit three singles and drove in two runs. James Gray hit a two-run double. Jason Weymouth doubled, singled and drove in a run.
Matt Leino’s RBI double in the sixth broke up the no-hitter.
