PORTLAND – Rich Parker of Lebanon, N.H., made a six-foot birdie putt on the second playoff hole Friday to win the Greater Portland Open at Riverside Golf Course and Abby Spector of Waterville posted the second lowest score for an amateur.

Parker, who won $8,000, finished the 54-hole tournament with a 10-under-par 203 to force a playoff with Kirk Hanefeld of Bolton, Mass., and Jeff Dantas of Pawtucket, R.I.

Hanefeld and Dantas, who shared the lead going into the final round, each won $2,750 out of a total purse of $24,000.

Spector finished the tourney with a 5-over-par 218. She shot a final-round 71 after notching a 72 in the second round an a 75 in the first round.

The low amateur score was shot by Shawn Warren of Windham, who set an amateur record for the tournament with a 211.
