BANGOR – A refueling plane that was leaking fuel made an unscheduled landing Thursday evening at Bangor International Airport.

No one was injured in the incident.

The KC-135 landed uneventfully, according to Maj. Mark Tuck of the Bangor Air National Guard. The leak was attributed to the age of the plane, Tuck said.

Local crews made repairs to the plane, which was not one of Bangor’s tankers, Tuck said.

The fuel leak had no environmental impact, Tuck said.
