BANGOR – Lincoln only had two hits but took advantage of eight Bangor errors to earn a 12-11 Little League Softball District 3 11-12 All-Stars victory Monday in seven innings. Renee Libbey and Brooke Hanscom had a single each for the winners.

BANGOR – Lincoln only had two hits but took advantage of eight Bangor errors to earn a 12-11 Little League Softball District 3 11-12 All-Stars victory Monday in seven innings.

Renee Libbey and Brooke Hanscom had a single each for the winners.

Lindsey Stevenson smacked a home run and a double to lead Bangor. Katie Porter singled and doubled, and Mariah Cassum hit two singles. Erin Dean recorded 19 strikeouts in a complete-game effort.

Old Town 20, Orono-Veazie 10

At Old Town, Mallori Emerson socked two triples and a single in the win for Old Town.

Amy Cossar singled twice and Hannah Morin doubled twice for the winners, and Toni Cole added a triple and a single.

At the Bangor West field, Tyler White singled twice and scored four runs to help Brewer advance in the winners’ bracket.

Brock Debay chipped in with a double and single for Brewer.

Tyler McFarland singled twice and scored two runs for Glenburn.
