PITTSFIELD – Hanna Johnson, 19, of China suffered minor cuts and bruises on her head, shoulders and legs Tuesday morning when she crashed her 1994 Nissan sedan on Interstate 95.
Johnson was wearing a seat belt, according to police.
The 8:25 a.m. accident happened at mile marker 143 northbound near the Pittsfield and Burnham town line.
Maine State Police Trooper Aaron Hayden said that Johnson blamed a tractor-trailer for moving into her lane, the passing lane, and forcing her into the median, where her car rolled over. The car was destroyed.
Hayden said the woman was unable to describe the truck.
Johnson was taken by Sebasticook Valley Hospital Ambulance to SVH for treatment. Hayden was assisted by Pittsfield police and fire units.
