CALAIS – Waldo scored all of its runs in the last four innings to erase a 7-0 deficit en route to a 15-8 American Legion baseball win over Calais Tuesday. Jesse Johnson singled and doubled and Nick Arthers added two singles for the winners.

CALAIS – Waldo scored all of its runs in the last four innings to erase a 7-0 deficit en route to a 15-8 American Legion baseball win over Calais Tuesday.

Jesse Johnson singled and doubled and Nick Arthers added two singles for the winners.

Joe Footer led the Suns with four singles. Jeff Dougherty smacked a single and a double, and Ben Maloney laced a pair of singles.

At Dover-Foxcroft, Penquis’ James Gray outdueled the Comrades’ Josh Young, firing a one-hitter with five strikeouts in earning the win.

Seth Strout scored on a Caleb Pelletier single in the third for the Navigators. Strout had doubled and stolen third.

Brian Hackett singled for Bangor’s lone hit. Young finished with eight strikeouts.
