BENEDICTA – Katahdin rallied from an eight-run deficit with nine runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to earn a 13-12 victory over Bangor East in Little League Baseball District 3 ages 11 and 12 all-stars play.

Dylan Beaulieau hit a two-run double, and Josh Giggey added a double. Jonathan Keys had three singles, and Tyler Robertson notched two.

Nate Lewis, Chad Kelly, Mack Susi, and Jason Duff each had two singles for Bangor East. John Warren knocked a double.

At Orrington, Eric White pitched a two-hitter with 10 strikeouts as Brewer cruised.

Billy Bissell knocked an RBI double for the winners and Dylan Fitzpatrick added a double.

Sean Murphy and Joey Thompson each singled for Orrington.

Old T own 9, Bangor West 5

At Bangor West, Nathan Michaud’s two-run double keyed a four-run eighth inning for Old Town in the win.

Kirk Francis hit three singles and plated a pair for the winners, and Michaud racked up two doubles, a single, and two RBIs.

Tommy Augustine doubled, singled, and knocked in a pair for Bangor West. Zane Gray and Matt Duplisea had two singles apiece.

At Milbridge, Sam Stewart fired a no-hitter with 11 strikeouts and gave himself all the runs he needed with a two-run single in the first inning as Sunrise rolled.

Brian Haywood led the hit parade with a three-run homer. Colby Tucker laced a two-run double and Josh Beal smacked an RBI double. Mickey Manning doubled and scored two runs.

Coastal 5, Ellsworth 3 (9 inn.)

At Ellsworth, Nick Saunders singled in Adam Kaspala with the game-winner in the top of the ninth for Coastal.

Casey Hall slammed a solo homer in the fourth for the winners.

Dana Austin and Doug Gray had a double apiece for Ellsworth, and Brad Folmer added a sacrifice fly.

At Bangor West, Josiah Hartley slammed a three-run double in the third to lift Bangor West to the win.

Dylan Morris knocked a two-run double as part of a six-run second for the winners. Jason Larochelle added an RBI triple.

Connor Griffin and John Szewczyk had two singles each to lead Bangor East.

At Lincoln, Regina Rider had two singles and knocked in a pair of runs as Lincoln prevailed.

Katie Smith and Renee Libbey added RBI singles for the winners.

Julie Guay and Toni Cole had an RBI single apiece to lead Old Town.
