HARRISBURG, Pa. – A pair of errors by Portland in the seventh inning led to two unearned runs that lifted the Harrisburg Senators over the Sea Dogs 7-5 Wednesday in the Eastern League.

Chris Schoder (5-1) picked up the victory with 2 2-3 innings of relief, allowing two runs in the ninth on Jeff Smith’s bases-loaded single before retiring Sean McGowan on a flyout to end the game.

The Sea Dogs scored three of their runs off Harrisburg starter Josh Karp, who allowed two runs on Josh Headley’s triple and Justin Sherrod’s double in the first inning, and another in the fourth on Jim Goelz’s sacrifice fly.
