ORONO – Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Eric Weinrich, who eclipsed the 1,000-game NHL plateau this past season, and Scott Pellerin, the University of Maine’s first Hobey Baker Award winner (1992) and another veteran NHLer, will be among the former Black Bears playing in Sunday’s 2:30 p.m. Maine alumni hockey game at Alfond Arena.

Bill Demianiuk, Gary Conn, Jean-Yves Roy, Kent Salfi, David Cullen, Niko Dimitrakos, Brendan Walsh, Ray Jacques, Mario Thyer, and Mike Morrison are among the other players who will man the two 15-man rosters.

They will play two periods instead of three, a 20-minute period and a 30-minute one.

Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for students.

There will also be a golf tournament Monday at Penobscot Valley Country Club.
