Bangor East, Sunrise, Bucksport notch wins Holbrook eliminates Hermon in 9-10 division

HAMPDEN – Nicole Stairs hit a three-run triple in the fifth inning to give Bangor East the lead and help the all-stars eliminated Hampden 13-5 in Little League baseball game for ages 11-12 Tuesday.

Mack Susi struck out 10 and gave up only two walks for Bangor East. Nate Lewis had three singles and Chad Kelley hit a pair of singles with a RBI.

Matt Lindemann hit a solo home run in the second inning and singled for Hampden. Josh Tardiff had two doubles with two RBIs and Nolan Turner doubled and singled with two RBIs.

At 13th Street Field, Bangor, Ray Bessette pitched a complete game, giving up only one hit and three walks while striking out 14 to lead Holbrook to the win.

Peter Schultz hit three singles and drove in three runs for Holbrook.

At Milbridge, Brendon Tenney gave up only two hits and five runs while striking out 10 to lead Sunrise past Coastal.

Joshua Ring doubled and singled to knock in three runs for Sunrise. Mike Crowley hit a pair of doubles and Tenney had an RBI double.

Jesse Dow hit a two run double in the first inning for Coastal and Josh Gale had a RBI single.

At Bar Harbor, Cody Davis fired a two-hitter, striking out nine and walking three, and helped his own cause with a run-scoring triple.

Zack Hall tripled and singled and drove in two runs, Evan Eldridge knocked in two runs with pair of singles and Ryan Bailey tripled and singled and had an RBI.

Billy Deredin and Tyler French each had two-run doubles and Tim Nason contributed a two-run single.

Caleb MacDonald and Charlie Pal had the Acadians’ hits, both singles.

At 13th Street Field in Bangor, Ryan LaRochelle hit an RBI single in the bottom of the fifth to put Bangor West on top and give it the win.

Zane Gray hit a double and two singles with two RBIs for Bangor West and LaRochelle had a pair of singles with two RBIs.

Tim Kenerson had two doubles and a single to drive in three runs for Glenburn and Andrew Casey added two singles.
