WARREN – All active and former Marines and friends of the Marine Corps in the midcoast are getting ready for the annual Marine Corps SOS Breakfast.

The breakfast will take place from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 26. As in years past, the farm of former Marine Eddie Boggs will be the site of the breakfast. The Boggs farm is one mile south of the junction of Routes 1 and 90.

The Mid-Coast Detachment of the Marine Corps League in Rockland is host of the breakfast.

There will be no inclement weather the day of the breakfast, said retired Col. Bruce M. MacLaren.
