ORONO – The University of Maine had 167 student-athletes named to the 2002-03 America East Winter/Spring Honor Roll for earning grade-point averages of 3.0 or higher.

UMaine had the highest percentage of student-athletes names to the Academic Honor Roll as 167 of its 319 student-athletes (52.35 percent) received the distinction. The Black Bears also had 84 student-athletes named to the Commissioner’s Honor Roll for earning a 3.5 GPA.
