MILLINOCKET – James Gray slammed a two-run home run, doubled and singled to power the Penquis Navigators to an 11-1 American Legion baseball win over the Lincoln Lumber Thursday.
Jason Weymouth led off the game with a solo homer to get the Navigators going. Eric Day doubled, singled and knocked in a pair.
Matt Work had two doubles and Scott Flannery two singles for the Lumber.

At Hampden, Adam Cousins rapped three singles and plated a run as the Acadians rolled.

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Billy Chapman tossed a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts and two walks to lead the Comrades to the win.
Bangor scored two runs in the second, one on a wild pitch and another on a steal of home plate. Brian Worster tripled and Jessefa Murphy and Alex Means each hit two singles.
Zack Ludington singled for Calais in the sixth. Ryan McLay scattered five hits to go with seven strikeouts in the loss.

At Brewer, Chad Gomm struck out 15, walked one and gave up two hits as the Falcons cruised.
Brewer’s Kevin McAvoy hit a two-run single in the fifth and Jason Harvey tallied an RBI on a bases-loaded walk. Harvey and Andy Wentworth each singled.
James Potvin and Willy Crichton each hit a single for Waldo.
