PRESQUE ISLE – HORIZONS Health Services has announced two appointments to its staff.

Pat Lamoreau of Easton has been named health services manager of HORIZONS Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center in Presque Isle and Caribou.

Lamoreau attended Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital Radiology School, now known as Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. As a licensed and registered radiology technologist, she worked at St. Joseph Hospital in Bangor as a staff radiology technologist and clinical instructor for radiology students. She then worked at Gould Memorial Hospital, Presque Isle, and on the staff of two local medical practices. She is a member of the Maine Society of Radiology Technologists.

Dawn Poitras of Fort Fairfield has been named health services manager of HORIZONS Occupational Health and Wellness Services in Presque Isle. Poitras will continue in her position as business development coordinator at The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle, a position she has held since January 2000.

She graduated from Husson College with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and is pursuing a master’s degree in public health at California College for Health Sciences. She is studying for a personal training certification through the American Council on Exercise.

Poitras is a past president of the Presque Isle Kiwanis Club and a member of the Kiwanis board of directors. She also is on the coalition for The Partnership for a Healthy Community and serves on the Presque Isle Chamber of Commerce board of directors.
