LIMESTONE – The Maine School of Science and Mathematics is offering the “Nature and Numbers” and “Summer Explorations” summer camps.

These weeklong residential camps provide girls and boys who are curious about math, science and technology with opportunities to explore these fields.

“Nature and Numbers” will be held for girls in grades five through eight from Sunday, July 13, to Saturday, July 19.

“Summer Explorations” will be held for boys in grades five through seven from Sunday, July 20, to Saturday, July 27, and for boys grades seven to nine from Sunday, July 27, to Saturday, Aug. 2.

Both summer camp programs feature hands-on classes, including Web page design, bridge design and astronomy as well as sports activities.
