The Lumberjacks jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the first. Schuyler Doakes led off with a double, then Sandy Martinez bunted him over to third. Donnie Ross then singled to score Doakes. After Lorenzo de la Cruz struck out, Todd Brock walked, then Josh Brinkley singled, driving in Ross.

Two more singles from Edwin Thompson and Brad Hargreaves followed, and Brock and Brinkley both scored.

Orlando Encarnacion came in to pitch in the ninth for Allentown, and gave up two runs while getting two outs and left with the bases loaded and the lead four runs. Carlos Gomez came in and allowed one single, before getting Hargreaves to ground out to end the game.
