The Maine Baseball Hall of Fame will award scholarships to six seniors at an induction ceremony on Sunday, July 20th at the Holiday Inn By the Bay in Portland.

Monique Emerson of Jonesport-Beals, Amanda Pullen of Dexter and Portland’s Megan Rutherford will receive Marie W. Noel Softball scholarships, while recipients of the Edward J. “Packy” McFarland Baseball scholarships are Scott Brown of Deering in Portland, David Chrisos of Bangor Christian and Thornton Academy of Saco’s Keil Martin. Each scholarship is worth $500. Tickets for the banquet and induction ceremony are $20, and can be obtained by calling Sonny Noel (428-3678) or Don Douglas (846-3460).
