BANGOR – The Bangor YMCA has added two new employees. Michael Dunn of Bangor will serve as membership director, and Sheila Coleman of Holden will serve as rehabilitation coordinator.

Dunn holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Maine. Most recently, he was a field director for a U.S. Senate candidate and communications director for a state Senate office. He is a long-term member of the YMCA. He has assumed management of the Access-Y scholarship program.

Coleman will head the YMCA’s cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation fitness programs. Her experience includes work at the Auburn-Lewiston YMCA and at the International Paper Corporate Fitness Center in Bucksport.

She attended college at the University of Maine-Farmington and holds certifications with the American Council on Exercise, Aerobics & Fitness Association of America, and the American Aerobic Association-International Sports Medicine Association.
