Creative bookkeeping

In reference to the governor’s “surplus” of money, where do taxpayers think it came from? I will tell you where most of it came from, the state of Maine employees, with shutdown days, no merit increases, hiring freezes.

Let’s not just blame the former administration, this administration is no better. I would say contact your state legislator and maybe you would get a response, probably not. I have tried my state legislator, with no response. I will be sure to vote again in hopes there is someone better suited to the needs of all the people in Maine.

With the economy the way it has been, how could there be a surplus? I call it creative bookkeeping.
