GRAND FALLS, New Brunswick – Members of Ron Tardif’s kung fu class at the Van Buren Community Center took home many trophies at the Hip Kyun Kung Fu Federation.

Richard Michaud of Van Buren took second in forms competition; Madawaska’s Brandon Tardif was second in forms; Devin Clavette took home second place in fighting; Tonya Godin won in forms, won in weapons, and was third in fighting; Derek Girvois was first in forms; Erika Searles took second place in forms; Nic LaJoie of Van Buren won in forms, won in weapons, and took second in fighting; Cyr Plantation’s Chantal Deveau was third in forms; and Derek Dibois of Van Buren took home a participation medal.
