KNOX – Augusta recorded two victories in the state Little League all-star baseball tourney for ages 11-12 over the weekend.

Augusta defeated Sunrise 2-0 on Saturday and topped Katahdin 4-2 on Sunday.

On Saturday, Jacob Rutt slammed a two-run homer and pitched a four-hit shutout with nine strikeouts for Augusta.

Colby Tucker doubled and Josh Beal singled for Sunrise.

On Sunday, Mustafa Hassenzada fanned 11 Katahdin hitters in earning the win for Augusta.

Hassenzada also had an RBI triple for the winners. Jacob Rutt hit a solo homer and Garret Lucas added an RBI single.

Travis Casey and Ethan Quailey each had an RBI single for Katahdin.

At Knox, Will White’s RBI double and Colin Burnett’s RBI single in the first inning led Falmouth to the win.

Sam Durwoody scored on a passed ball for the winners.

Matthew Broadhead had an RBI single for Kennebunk.

At Knox, Ben Moody laced an RBI double in the fourth inning as Falmouth rolled.

Sam Dunwoody stole home in the third for the winners, and Jesse Aicher singled and scored on a wild pitch.

David Searle doubled and Anderson Murphy had two singles for Rockalnd.

York 13, Camden 1

At Bucksport, Aaron Mora and Dylan Pratt each hit a two-run double to lead York to victory.

Chris Cole added a double, a single and an RBI.

James Weferling and Samuel Prepham each doubled for Camden.

At Bucksport, Tim Nason had a single, a double and three RBIs to help give Bucksport the edge over Katahdin.

Tyler French contributed a single and an RBI triple.

Dylan Willett hit a two-run double for Katahdin while Cody Gallagher had a single, a double and an RBI.

At Bucksport, T.J. Whitten and Kyle Bishop combined to pitched a one-run, two-hit game while Whitten hit two singles and Bishop added a double, a single and an RBI.

Jake Profirio chipped in with two singles.

Zack Gardener led Westbrook with an RBI single while Nick Finocchiaro hit a single.

At Bucksport, Kyle Gaffrey and Anthony Gannetti each hit a two-run double to help lead York to the win.

Sam Ciccolini-Foley added two singles and an RBI while Chris Cole doubled and singled.

Cody Garrell and Evan Eldridge had two singles and an RBI apiece for Bucksport.

At Ellsworth, Alexis Bogdanovich pitched a no-hitter and tripled twice to go with a single as South Portland National rolled.

Katlin Norton had a single, double and triple for the winners and Courtney Perruzi added three singles.
