Saunders captures Pro Stock at Speedway 95

HERMON – Andy Saunders of Ellsworth took the lead in the CAM II 50-lap Pro Stock special on a lap 46 restart and went on to win the event.

Paul White of Corinna made a late pass to win the Limited Sportsman event while points leader Ryan Deane of Winterport came in second.

In the Super Street class, Keith Pierce of Bradford won his first feature of the year.

Wiscasset Speedway

At Wiscasset, Steve Reno of West Bath picked up his third win of the season in the Strong Chevrolet Modified class while Dave St. Clair of Liberty captured his second straight win in the Limited Sportsman feature.

Robbie Greenleaf of West Bath and Caleb Churchill posted their first victories in the Mini Stock and Mini Cup features.

Beech Ridge Motor Speedway

At Scarborough, Alan Tardiff of Lyman won his second NASCAR Pro Series race, emerging from the 16th starting spot.

Chris Warming of Hollis won both his qualifying and feature race in the NASCAR Sport Series. He was followed across the finish line by Robert Norton of Limington and Dustin Reynolds of Buxton.

Laura Webster of Gorham won her second consecutive Lightning Bug event, beating runner-up Phil Brackett of South Portland by less than a car length.

At Unity, Scott Chubbuck of Wiscasset led for the entire race and won the 50-lap Pro Stock event at Unity Raceway on Friday.
