BREWER – Mickey Strout of Bangor aced the 161 yard fifth hole at Pine Hill Golf Club in Brewer on Friday with a 5-iron. Stan Howard, Ed Lingley, and Bob Denner all witnessed the event.

BREWER – Paul Nichols of Brewer shot a hole-in-one on the 154-yard ninth hole at Pine Hill Golf Club in Brewer on Friday with a pitching wedge. Dan Waters witnessed the shot.

ORONO – Marie Therrien or Orono aced the fourth hole of Penobscot Valley Country Club on Monday. She used a driver for the 140-yard shot which was witnessed by Georges Tanguay.
