ROCKLAND – Police on Monday continued investigating a stabbing that occurred Saturday on Payson Lane.

Jake Connors, 18, of Rockland was taken to Penobscot Bay Medical Center in Rockport, police Sgt. Lloyd Daniels said Monday. Connors was treated and released, according to a nursing supervisor on Monday.

Connors was stabbed in the chest, Daniels said.

No charges had been filed Monday.

The incident remained under investigation by Detective James Pease. No further details were available Monday.
