LINCOLN – The town will sponsor a karaoke night and a road race this weekend to benefit the Lincoln Community Recreational Fund.
V-J Karaoke of Lee will provide musical services 5-11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, at Prince Thomas Park. Donations are encouraged for the all ages at the event.
The inaugural Lincoln Lakes 5K Road Race will be start at 9 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, at the Ella P. Burr School. The first 25 participants to the all-ages event will receive a free race T-shirt. A one-mile fun walk will start at 9:30 a.m. from the school.
The entry fee for the race is $15. For information or to register, call the recreation department at 794-6548 or the town office at 794-3372.
