PARSONSFIELD – State police are requesting help from the public in locating a man whose home and only vehicle were destroyed by fire more than two weeks ago.
John J. Hannemann, 41, was last seen three days before the fire on July 24. A search of the rubble did not find Hannemann’s body, and fire marshal investigators list the cause of the fire as “undetermined.”
Hannemann was the only resident of the home and was in the process of rebuilding the house. His dog, known to be a constant companion, was found unharmed near the home after the fire.
State police detectives say their investigation has not indicated foul play but they still want to locate Hannemann. Hannemann is 6 feet tall, weighs 160 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes.
