FARMINGTON – A man accused of attempted murder in connection with the shooting of his mother is not eligible for bail before his trial, a judge ruled.

Joshua Osborne, 22, faces three felony charges, including attempted murder, for allegedly shooting Janette Osborne in the chest last month.

His girlfriend, Donna Enman, 22, of Farmington, is in jail, also charged with attempted murder in the case.

Justice Joseph Jabar ruled Friday in Farmington District Court that Osborne’s bail be revoked and that court liens against $500,000 worth of property be returned.

Osborne was released July 29 after Gerard Castonguay, a Livermore Falls businessman, posted the property.

But he was back in jail less than 48 hours later when prosecutors said that he violated the terms of his release by writing a letter to Enman. A 15-minute phone call from the Franklin County Detention Center to Osborne’s grandmother’s home also was traced.
