A young man was charged with criminal threatening and violation of condition of release Saturday morning in Bangor after threatening another man with a club.
Wayne Ceasar, also known as Smokey, 22, of Bangor was found running from the victim’s home where the threatening was said to have occurred, according to the police report. Bangor Police Officer Josh Ouellette caught up with Ceasar and put him in the cruiser and then a witness helped Ouellette locate the black club allegedly used in the threatening in a bush by the house.
Two 14-year-old males were reportedly also involved in the incident. One was not found and the other was taken into custody and released to his mother, according to the report.

A transient man was charged with assault of an emergency medical care provider on Saturday night in Bangor.
John McDougall, 35, kicked a male nurse in the stomach at St. Joseph Hospital with enough force to knock the nurse backward, according to reports of Bangor police Officers James Hassard and Allen Woolley. Witnesses said McDougall was annoyed because the nurse had told him he couldn’t smoke in the hospital. Hospital staff said McDougall also threw a book at another health care worker.

An intoxicated man was charged with assault, refusing to submit to arrest, and refusing to sign a criminal summons Saturday night in Brewer.
Richard Bunker, 59, of Ellsworth assaulted an employee at a local establishment near the Acme Road, and later tried to push past Brewer Cpl. David Lord and Officer Peter Rancourt in an effort to re-enter the establishment. Lord informed Bunker he would be arrested if he pushed them again. When he did, the officers wrestled Bunker to the ground, handcuffed him and arrested him.
