ELLSWORTH – Artwork is being accepted for a November exhibit celebrating the 10th anniversary of The Next Step Domestic Violence Project of Hancock County.
Submissions should help to educate people about domestic violence and may include any form of creative expression, including poetry, song, mixed media, painting and sculpture.
Work will be accepted from artists of all ages and abilities, especially local artists and survivors of abuse.
The deadline for submissions is Oct. 22. Artwork or photographs of artwork and a short paragraph describing the piece should be submitted to The Next Step in person or mailed to P.O. Box 1465, Ellsworth 04605, attention: art. Include your name, address, and day and evening phone numbers.
