WARREN – A local woman escaped injury Monday when she lost control of her car while swatting a bee and ended up hitting a utility pole on Western Road.
Willow A. Johnson, 19, of Warren was driving a 1994 Volkswagen when she hit the pole, causing $1,500 in damage to her vehicle, according to a Knox County Sheriff’s Department report.
Deputy Corey Dodge investigated the 6:30 a.m. accident, which resulted in no charges. The driver was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
