HOULTON – Amelia Cote’s two goals and Lauren Harrigan’s two assists helped lift the Caribou girls soccer team to a 2-1 win over Houlton Wednesday evening in high school action.

Rachel Willey stopped four out of five shots for the 1-0 Vikings.

Ashley Gard scored off a Sarah Harbison pass for the 0-1 Shiretowners. Anna Lenentine made eight saves against 10 shots.

Fort Kent 4, Madawaska 0

At Fort Kent, Melissa Michaud scored two goals to help carry the 1-0 Warriors to the win.

Gabrielle Cyr scored and had an assist while Lindsey Cyr added a goal. Sarah Dube and Hannah Pelletier and Sherrie Ouellette recorded an assist apiece. Mindy Morneault faced eight shots and stopped 10 for Fort Kent.

Erin Pelletier and Liz LaPlante combined to make 15 saves on 21 shots for 0-2 Madawaska.

JV: Fort Kent 2-1

Limestone 2, Washburn 1

At Limestone, Ellie Dunn and Lindsey Beaulieu each scored a goal as the Eagles edged the Beavers.

Allison Beaton notched an assist for the winners, and Nikki Michaud made one save on two shots.

Nicole McLaughlin scored an unassisted goal for Washburn. Amber Palmer stopped four out of nine shots.
