BANGOR – Tom Judge, executive director of LifeFlight of Maine, has been chosen to receive the Jim Charlson Award from the Association of Air Medical Services.
The award is presented annually to honor an individual for significant contributions to the enhancement, development or promotion of aviation or aviation safety in the national and international air medical transport industry.
The crews of two LifeFlight of Maine helicopters based in Bangor and Lewiston nominated Judge for the award.
