Course on Merton to be offered in Belfast

BELFAST – Sister Elizabeth Wagner will present a four-day course on Thomas Merton from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays Sept. 6, Oct. 4, Nov. 1 and Dec. 6 at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, 95 Court St.

Merton, a Trappist monk and author, achieved prominence for his writings and as a spiritual teacher during the 1960s.

The cost for all four sessions is $60. Registration is required.
