ORONO – Fred Lazo of the University of Maine has been named the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week. The 5-foot-10, 210-pound senior linebacker from East Patchaque, N.Y., registered 10 tackles, seven unassisted including a sack, and made an interception that set up a field goal in the Black Bears’ 30-20 loss to Montana on Saturday night at Alfond Stadium
