NEWPORT – Beth Paradis, a science teacher at Nokomis Regional High School, has been selected to participate in the Northern New England Co-Mentoring Network, a project funded by the National Science Foundation.
The program pairs middle and high school educators who are inexperienced in mathematics and science instruction with teacher mentors from Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont for three-year training programs.
Paradis recently completed a weeklong summer program at the Waterville Valley Conference Center in New Hampshire in preparation for the program.
