Running patients’ lives

Where did our freedom go? It’s a sad state when a person can’t go to whichever doctor they want to. The insurance companies are running our lives. They tell us which doctor to go to and what prescriptions they will pay for. We don’t have any say in any of the decisions about going to a doctor without a referral.

We should be able to go to any doctor if we are willing to pay for our own visit. It seems as though everyone else has control of our lives but ourselves.
