BANGOR – Penquis CAP Head Start, a program for preschoolers, is registering children ages 3 to 5 for the fall.
Head Start provides educational activities for children of income-eligible families, as well as medical exams, immunizations, dental exams and social services.
Parents are invited to visit a Head Start center in their area. The program operates four hours a day, four days a week, September through May, in the following locations: Bangor, Brewer, Dexter, Dover-Foxcroft, Exeter, Howland, Lee, Lincoln, Milo, Newburgh, Newport, Old Town and Parkman.
