ELLSWORTH – Former Boston Red Sox outfielder Jim Rice will be a special guest at the opening of the new Ellsworth branch of Peoples Heritage Bank today from 5-7 p.m. at 217 High Street. The bank will also make a $1,000 charitable donation to the Open Door Recovery Center.
