Something’s wrong

From what we read and hear, the United States is broke and on the verge of bankruptcy. Jobs are being lost and plants, mills and businesses are closing daily.

Now our president wants $87 billion to bail out both Iraq and Afghanistan. NASA, the largest drain on the American taxpayer, has indicated it plans to resume space exploration in March. Congress, in its infinite wisdom, has just approved another wage increase for its members. So what’s wrong with this picture?
