Linda Consolante, a junior on the UMaine women’s soccer team, has been named to the Canadian Women’s World Cup team. After being cut, she was recalled to the squad to fill a roster spot left open by injury. The team will play its first game on Saturday in Columbus, Ohio, at 5:45 p.m.
