LIMESTONE – Otis May, an electrical instructor with the Home Builders Institute at Loring Job Corps Center, has been honored with the institute’s 2003 Regional Placement Award.

Presented to one outstanding instructor in each of the six Job Corps regions around the country, May’s award encompasses 10 Job Corps centers throughout New England, New York and New Jersey.

Instructors who received the award met a set of nine criteria, including working with local industries to develop career paths for students and direct placement of students into a job prior to leaving Job Corps.

The award was presented last month at the Home Builders Institute annual training conference in Phoenix, Ariz.
